New family member - 'Lady Nymeria Whiskers'

A little bundle of fluff brings so much happiness!

Ever had a year start when nothing goes right and all you hear is bad news?

Well, 2012 is that year for me so you can imagine how relieved I was to be introduced to my son's new kitten, 'Lady Nymeria Whiskers' - named by my 20 year old daughter.

So far this year I have had to face several hard knocks of rejection, mistreatment by interviewers, working through a tight budget because we have now temporarily become a one-income household (by choice mind you) and to top it all off, the loss of a dear family friend. And it's only February!

It makes my life so much easier to bear when an innocent, beautiful kitten brings me to my knees and I get all giggly with affectionate love.

Yes, I've got a fresh perspective again. I feel invigorated by the innocence, wonder and playfulness of a six week old kitten.
